pHormulate consider 4 groups of customers:
- General
- Stylist
- Salon owners
- Distributers*
General customers (consumers) can register using registration form or during checkout process.
Stylists, salon owners, and distributers must register to purchase certain products and gain access to certain privileges.
*NOTE: Because we need to verify the information, Distributer’s accounts are not activated right after registration.
NOTICE: pHormulate does not sell color products to general customers as it prohibited by the law. To buy color products customer must be a professional and have a valid license (hairdresser, hair salon) or act as a reseller (distributor).
Common registration steps
- Goto www.phormulate.com
- Click on “Register at pHormulate store” link at the right box.
You will be directed to the account registration page.
- Input your information into the registration form. Make sure to select an option for “Customer Group” selection. Select the group you are registering in and the appropriate fields will appear below
Fields marked with * are required.
- Enter verification code as described in “Registration form fields”
- Submit the form by clicking “Submit” button. If all the information was entered correctly you will be directed to “My Account” page. You will also receive an email notification about your new account at pHormulate.
Registration form fields
Registration form consist of 3 parts:
- Common fields
- Customer group related fields
- Verification
Common fields
First name, last name, email, password – these fields are obvious.
Sign Up for Newsletter – by checking this box customer signing up to receive emails from pHormulate about news, promotions etc.
ISR Program – Individual Sales Representative program. If customer was brought to pHormulate buy sales representative, then ISR code identifies sales person.
Group fields
General
all these fields are optional.
Stylist
*Stylist must enter a company name and a valid license number. Other fields are optional.
Salon Owner
*Salon Owner must enter a business name and a valid license number. Other fields are optional.
Distributor
Distributor must enter a business name and the territory being covered. Other fields are optional.
Verification code
Verification is needed to prevent fake registrations by spammers. It is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to ensure that the response is not generated by a computer, also known as CAPTCHA – an acronym for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Human Apart”.
All you need is to type the words from picture to the input field correctly. If you cannot read the words just click on 
sign to get another picture.
Click the “Submit” button located at the bottom right of the screen. You should be directed to a new page verifying your registration status
