Monday, March 30th, 2009

Stylist name: Irina

Initial assessment: after shampooing – the ends are level 5, the roots (natural color) are level 7.

Desired result: an even color (but not dark, levels 7-8)

Formula: the 1st stage is highlighting: 10N+4 scoops of energizing powder, then – emulsification adding «0» and 10Vol. The result is super, but the color is warm, so the second stage is toning to neutralize the color: 7N-1 oz + drabber 1/6 oz + Demi – 1 oz. The result is awful – her hair is black again. The 3rd stage: “0” + 6 % developer on damp hair, processing time -10 minutes, the result is not perfect! In a week the color on the roots washed off and became lighter and warmer. The 4th stage: we apply the mixture of 7N+drabber+Demi on the roots.

Result: the color is uneven! The boundary between the roots and the basic color is seen.  There’s a question: how we can even the color (7N is too dark and 8N won’t work (it’s too light))?

Stylist name: Olga Kharlamova

Initial assessment: the roots (about 1 inch) – natural color of level 8, all over the hair – 10N.

Desired result: to get level 10 with a golden shade.

Formula: 10N – 2 oz + 3 scoops of energizing powder + 20 Vol on the roots, toning with CGD+ DEMI+ 0. I didn’t use “0” for lightening the hair because only half a bottle was left and I used it for toning.

Result: an even beautiful golden blond.

Stylist Name: Nadya Savicheva

Initial assessment: 5N+highlights.

Desired result: light blond on levels 9-10, preferably without any yellow shade.

Formula: we started coloring with grown-up hair, 9N – 2 oz, 1 scoop of energizing powder, 20 Vol. – 2

oz. In 20 minutes we applied on the hair: 9N+20 Vol, the processing time was 30 minutes. After washing off

the color we did the highlights: 9N, some scoops of powder, 30 Vol. As some yellow pigment has shown up

we had to tone it with 9N (1 oz), VR (1/6 oz), Demi (1 oz).

Result: the color was beautiful, thought there was some hard work to do.
